Poem is copyright my Nee-chan, Hokuto.

Sometimes
I put my hand to my face
And there are tears I didn’t expect
Rising up like springs
And spilling over into my palm.
Sometimes
I put my hand to my face
And there is a drought
Where I expected showers
Of rain.

I know
There is nothing I can do
That changes anything
And you will always be
One step away
On the other side of the page.

Good night and I love you and I love you.

That is so elegant- wonderful. There is a real delicacy and fragility about this piece- really suits the poem. The only criticism I'd have is the shadow on the face from the hair- I don't think it's dark enough to totally hide his eyes from us. Unless he's not supposed to have eyes @_@. But, I still really like it- soft and muted with a bold statement.
This is really, really beautiful, and as the above poster said, the art suits the poem. It's actually quite rare that soft shading fits in so well on an anime-style figure. Really liking the script in the backround too, I would have never thought of something like that ;) (Wink)

I'm faving this firstly because it's a great peice, and secondly because it really strikes a cord with me tonight...
wow this is so pretty I like how everything flows and the poem is great.

That was the most beautiful poem, and this is the most gorgeous picture to compliment it. I love how you can't see his eyes...wai, this rules. Heart
